Living your Dreams <3

There are so many things out there to be. How does anyone choose?
In this world full of mystery, and possibilities how do you  pick something that's right for you.
It's a question, I am sure we have all been asked before
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A poet in Paris? or a Dancer in Dubai?
You can be anything you wanna be as long as you try.
but when you are young and have the world at your fingertips how do you choose?
I am currently a Junior in high school (2012! <3) and all of my classmate are talking about what college they want to go to and how they are gonna major in this and get a career in that, and I just don't get it.
Why waste the best years of your life in school? We are only young once, so live!

Of course every time I say this I get the look, the oh she'll be working at Mc Donald's, look

Ha Ronald I am coming to take your job! :)

But Seriously, I don't understand. Who says college is the answer to everything, or for everyone. When I am on my death bed the last thing I am going to think about is "Man I sure wish I went to college" I want to look back and think about how I lived a full life. How I traveled the world and met people who inspired me and people who challenged what I believed. People of different cultures and nationalities who see things differently then me! I want to leave a foot print on this Earth and not just be another person floating by.
I want to be somebody.
I want to be of importance, I don't want to stand by and watch people achieve there dreams and be on the sideline cheering them on thinking that should be me!

In the words of Patti Smith "I wasn't born to be a spectator"

So, When I grow up I....never want to be a spectator.
